Reviews

Overall, the Mach-E Select’s reception has been favorable. Reviewers and drivers find its appearance in line with the sportiness of the Mustang. Essentially, it’s the midpoint between a sports car and a fuel-conscious EV.

Many praise Mach-E Select’s high-performing capabilities. It outperforms many other EVs in its class. Its ability to go from 0-60 in just over 5 seconds is more in line with gas-powered vehicles. It can get 230 miles to a single charge, and that’s also a key selling point.

The main complaint with the Mach-E Select is that it doesn’t quite live up to some competitors. In particular, the Tesla Y outperforms it in multiple areas. Specifically, the Mach-E Select gets 266-hp to Tesla’s 447 and has a 230-mile driving range compared to the Y’s 326.

Another complaint is that the Mach-E doesn’t have the V8 many drivers would look for in a Mustang. As a result, the engine’s roar is lacking, which gives this vehicle the smooth, quiet ride you’d expect from a crossover.
