With only a glance, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is seemingly the most powerful corvette Chevrolet has released yet. The 2023 Corvette Z06 comes loaded with performance technologies and hardware that will define the standard for sports cars.
Overview
Though there are no specific dates for the release, Chevrolet does plan to release the Corvette Z06 in the Summer of 2022. The pricing has also yet to be revealed, but some believe it will be between $86,000 and $96,000.
Performance
The Z06 does not play around. Bolstering a new V8 LT6 engine, this powerhouse has a horsepower of 670. The engine is also naturally aspirated, giving it incredible efficiency and power. Inside the LT6, a new lightweight, the flat-plane crankshaft was implemented that can rev the engine up to 8,600 rpm. With its V8 engine, the Z06 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds.
With all this in hand, it is safe to say that the 2023 Corvette Z06 has the most powerful, naturally-aspirated V8 engine in the world.
This car is a powerhouse, and as such, it needs the braking ability to match that power. Inside you will find a standard 6-piston front and a 4-piston rear brake with superb braking. There are also carbon-ceramic brakes available for more demanding tracks.
Interior and Comfort
The interior of the 2023 Corvette Z06 is also chock-full of high-quality features. Inside you will find a carbon fiber-wrapped steering wheel and shift paddles. If you order the 2LZ trim level or above, it comes with a carbon-fiber interior package. There is also an option for hand-wrapped leather interiors, one of which is a fully trimmed interior colored Adrenaline Red.
These are just the basic options, but Chevy has added more options for almost every aspect of the interior. The options include:
- Twelve exterior colors
- Seven wheel packages with five finishes on aluminum wheels
- Carbon fiber wheels
- Three seats and six-seat belt options
- Six brake caliper colors
With comfort and personalization in mind, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is one of the most customizable corvettes.
Technology & Safety
Many technologies from its predecessor have carried over to the Corvette Z06, but each has been augmented. Its Driver Mode Selector has many features tailored to suit the driver’s needs. Some features include:
- Launch control
- Active handling (StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control)
- Performance Traction Management
- Electronic Limited Slip Differential
These technologies offer torque reduction, brake intervention, improved steering response and stability, and more. A lot of thought was put into making sure that this powerhouse of a vehicle has the safety and technology to match it.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Tons of personalization options, including three levels of different trim options.
- Contains an incredibly powerful V8 engine (670 HP).
- Luxurious interior and features.
Cons:
