They are QFT block aren't they?
Cheers Colin.

These are QFT 34-105 blocks.

The angle was 0.147 if i remember correctly. I opened them up to 0.159 (#21 Drill).

Been out of town, so I finally put the intake back on the car during lunch today.

Anytime you change one thing, it affects several others!

Throttle cable bracket would not work.
Throttle cable was too 1" short.
Air cleaner assy won't fit the Dom.
etc etc

I work sun up until dark and that does not leave much time to for me to fiddle with it. Also I was in Vegas for the Rock n Roll half marathon last weekend (wifey is a runner, me not so much) so that weekend was shot.

Got a cable bracket, a cable and have an air filter assy is on it's way. Hoping to lite the fuse on Saturday in between about 50 other things I need to do!

It's easier with a cable when you are working alone! :)

No worries here, just no free time!

More patience than me too. A few weeks back I got a new Quickfuel 1050 mainbody from Nomad so I would have a "winter project". Two hours after I had it unboxed I had TSJ's tapped, everything from my 1150 swapped over and it was on the dragster getting fired for the first time. =;

I would have had to fire it up by now. Come on James, let us know how it runs.

When you are a small business owner and have 2 kids (3rd and 6th grades) you quickly realize your hobby cannot be your priority. I'll get it wrapped up soon, but the track is closed until March anyway.

Here's a question in the mean time. Progressive or soft progressive for a street/strip carb? I have both linkages and think a progressive might be more 4150-ish and allow me to cruise on the primaries and not all 4.

BBR - Sorry, we all really do understand. We're all just having a little fun.

Bruce - It ran well once I added enough idle fuel. It's amazing what a difference it makes once all four of the transition slots are properly positioned and aren't .040 exposed with the blades fully closed. For the initial swap I ended up having 3.25 turns out on all the mixture screws to get it to idle. That was with .036 IFR and .059 IAB, so next time I fire the car I'm moving up to a .040 IFR and I'll see where I end up with the mixture screws.
