Well Jake wants to build a cruiser that he can get into and just drive. Oh course it has to be different but cool. So a guy brought this in to Jake's work and his boss (Robbie) worked a deal with Jake. The motor is locked up and Robbie said he has a complete 305 or 307 that ran when they took it out that we could put in until we redid the motor. I bought back the S10 to help pay for the wagon. The name of the project is Black Dynamite. It will be painted Hot Rod Flat Black.

last weekend we pulled the motor. This thing is wide!!!

The story is the guy bought the car in Iowa and was driving it back and it overheated and locked up. I noticed yesterday when I was working on the other engine to go in that there were a bunch of bumps on the side of the oil pan O:)

This is a glimpse of the interior. It seats 9 and the headliner is like new and there are some small rips in the seats. Everything works.

Yeah buddy, that's all he needs with gas prices going through the roof next year because of all the new "regulations" Obumbler's EPA Nazi is imposing!

This thing will get what, 12 MPG highway and 8 MPG around town? O:) And that 327 that came in it won't pull a greased string out of a cats ass in that 5000+lb sled. #-o

But yeah, I guess if you're spending money in this thing at least that will help to stimulate the economy, hey! ;-)

Yeah, I've been told that before. =;

Come to think of it, I had a 1962 Chebby 9 passenger Beer Wagon years ago that was just that! At the end of one particular weekend I remember dumping 192 empty beer bottlels out of that thing! O:) Of course gas back then was less than 30 cents a gallon though. Had that during the time I had that 1968 W-30 442 Olds Cutlass.

Kids. Yeah we are going with a 350 with the heads that came on his 300 hp crate motor that was in the S10. With the 480 cam we have. It should be around 325 350 hp and same in torque. Gas wise it wouldn't be any different than a 4wd pick up. =;

Hey Steve, that 192 beer bottle weekend I referred to was a MUTA 5 at Fort Picket way back in the 1970s when I was in the National Guard. =;

Living up to expectations I see. LOL We did some training there in 81. We drew Tanks and 113's there. I will always remember that place. It was the first and only gasser 113. It had a holley carb on it too \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Also remember pulling into our position, with a couple of tanks and my 88, and seeing signs stuck in the ground. We were on the back side so I walked around the sign and it said DANGER QUICKSAND O:) #-o Needless to say we moved to the other side of the sign real fast!! =;

I'm sure that will change shortly! Headers, turbo mufflers with pipes dumping in front of the rear tires. You know, the usual hot rod stuff! Then the cam, Holley carb and aluminum intake, followed by the shift kit and a 3K stall converter with a 4:56 gear in the rear. Yup, another race car in the making! ;-)

IMO it needs a set of side pipes =; =; =; OR a set of zoooomies out the hood =; =;

Then a big block with a blower later on :-# :-# Tub the back and a set of MT pro street tires ;-)

Awesome ideas \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ The only thing is the new motor is a 350 with L98 heads(They came on the 300 hp crate motor in the S10.) 480/480 comp cam, Eldebrock RPM, Holley 670 Street Avenger. Yeah headers and not sure what mufflers. It is just a cruiser. We may look at a gear swap later. =; I like the zoomie idea. \:D/ \:D/ Right now it is 305 with a quadrajet.

Free loaner until we get the new engine ready. Since we are on Jake time it will be sometime in the summer. LOL I really don't think this will see much track time.
