Here are a few pics of my S10. I originally put it together to run Pinks All Out back in 2010. Take it out 5 or 6 times a year, mostly to the grudge night races.

You and Jody make a pair!!

Yeah, I'm with ya Camgrinder!! I've had this "new to me" dragster now for over a year and I haven't run ANY rounds in competition since I've had it. Man, I just LOVE to go fast and I could give a s**t less if there's another hard dick in the other lane or not! ;-)

GO FAST FOREVER! And I hope there's drag cars and drag strips in heaven! ;-)

FOFG! \:D/

Took the truck out last Saturday night. A few months ago I swapped converters from a semi-nitrous friendly 3800 stall speed, to a tight real nitrous 3400 stall converter. I also made the mistake of putting on a new Super victor 2 intake at the same time. The old rule, "change one thing at a time" is very true.
The old 10.15-132 n/a passes are history. The truck would not run in the first 60 feet. Tried all sorts of things, but nothing helped.
So last week I put the old SV on and played with the carb and got it to run 10.50-129.9. It still sits on the converter for 60 feet, but the a-f is more in line.
Ran a nitrous pass at the end of the night, 1.49 60 foot, 6.13-118.4, 9.50-142.4. Progressed in single stage on a 73n jet. Pretty happy with that pass for such a small jet.
If anyone is wondering about the spread between the 1/8 mph and 1/4, the 1/4 mph clocks at Sacramento are about 3 low. I can run the same 1/8 mph at Sonoma, but 3 more MPH in the 1/4.

Crazy how even on spray, this converter pulls down the engine. Never had a converter this tight before.

Maybe after a few runs it will loosen some. S10's are cool. I'm buying my son's so he can work on a new project.

Barry, The S10 is mine now. I made a decent pass rolling into the throttle of the line during a race and it hooked fine (after spinning during time runs and running 9.12 - 9.40 @ 88 MPH) I hit second and realized I was way ahead of the other guy who left first O:) so I got on the brakes and out of the gas around the 330. i crossed the line with a 8.50 at 60 somthing MPH. LOL

I'll find out this year. LOL
