Anybody know anything about these gears?
Are they a PRO gear? Will they hold up in a drag application?

Glen Knieriem had several used sets at his shop the other day that he sells to drag racers. I wouldn't be afraid to try a set. The round track guys aren't nearly as hard on them as we are. The ones Glen had were lightened and there were different levels of lightening that had been done. He said he wouldn't use the real light ones in a car like mine.

That's kinda like a crap shoot, ie, how much are you willing to bet, which makes it a "depending on price" type deal. From what I understand, the roundy round gears are just basically street gears with material cut off them to reduce rotating weight. Not sure how they will hold up to drag race front wheels in the air launches!

I know that a Pro gear is REALLY expensive now but on the other side of that coin, I do think that the Pro gears are worth the extra $$ in the long run.

But as usual, you mileage may vary! ;-)

Getting ready to try a set in my car. I have heard also that they are good stuff. The ones I got where REM polished and lighted. For 150 bucks, it was worth the try.

They have a chrome-like finish. I can't see any wear on these gears at all. Hopefully they will hold up.
