In 1991 I bought a new Spitzer Roadster, 105 wheel base, four link, strut front end. It had the original Harwood style full fender 27 body. It was a good package with lots of wins.

Anyone else own one?

Nope. in 91 I had just finished my Pro Street 55 Studebaker and was burning up the local roads every chance I got.

We had a former member here that was working on an older roadster but don't know what brand it was. He should be racing that one by now.

Rick360 has an older Roadster also and is about ready to take it back to the track with a fresh SBC and Glide in it. That one is for sale turn key.

Here's mine. Planning to go testing next week with a very mild street 355 engine in it. It's 110"wb.

If I remember right it was built from a kit, but don't remember brand. I haven't read anything about it for a long time.

My brother in law has a Spitzer "Altered" (center seat) that has a Bantam body I think. He wrecked it and then had Parks build a new one. Ran 4.87 with 23ยบ 326ci engine.

Larry,
I've got the original prototype Harwood strut car kit. It was the one gary used to make all the changes in the first gen solid axel roasters. when I was running I-20 I made the deal with Gary to buy it when he said he had plans to build strut roadster, but wanted someone to buy one. He had it for over 2 years setting everthing up for his production. I had Vic @ EasTexas Race Cars finish it after I crashed vinny's C/SR in 1990. It has been sitting in my shop "waiting out" the wife that saw the crash. Someday she will 'give in' and let me race it or I'll give up and sell it. I'm not too good at posting pictures I'll send you a couple.

Well, I tried to send 3, but it seems I don't have your current e-mail.
