time for me to add to my arsenal of tools. looking at buying this jb mechanical tubing bender along with 1.625 diameter tubing dia(180degree).
have heard of good things from this tubing bender on some other forums. just wanted some opinions.

The draw through cam type mandrel benders work much better than the push type benders. The push types will occasionally collapse a tube rather than bending it. That and "precision" bends are easier to do with a mandrel bender.

When I bent the cage in that Camaro I built from scratch I used a mandrel draw through cam type bender that used a hydraulic ram. It was actually a bender that electricians use to bend conduit but it worked real well on the 1 5/8" .125 wall mild steel tubing I used on that car.

I've seen the type of bender in that link you posted at a number of local shops but I've never used one. They seem to work well for those who have them though as I've seen some of their work.
