Thanks Mark, I hope I never do a wheelstand with the dragster like the one you did with the Nova.  =;  =;

My car had a pad on the roll bar right behind my head that would soften the impact.  You learn to keep your head forward after you bang it a few times!  =;  I even tried pushing my head against the pad but your vision is so blurred it's hard to see.  Ya just have to get use to holding your head forward and all will be OK.  Oh, that was with 1.10 short times.  Your car will probably be a little quicker than that but it still shouldn't be that much of a problem.

So how is the paint coming?

Ken I agree  head foward !!

 90% of all dragster guys do it, 100% at my local tracks its a shame but a few guys (brothers) are complaing about it saying its cheating not having your head against the roll bar. I think they would understand if they made a pass in one.   ](*,)

I do the same in my altered, tuck my chin in and lean forward.  First time I drove it my head was back in the cage,

I have finished painting the dragster and the wiring is about 80% complete. I have a couple of items left to buy and I can finish the wiring. Next phase will be the engine, trans, converter, driveshaft, and rear-end.
Slow going, but it is getting there.

Yea, Greg, a buddy had one at the strip and after he told me what he liked about it I decided to get one as well.

You have done well, John. I'm betting your getting more than a little antsy about trying it out.

          Apparently not as much as everyone else. I have many friends who want to make the first pass down the track with it. Thanks for the kind words, it has been about 10 months now since I started it.

John it's almost there. You have the right idea keep the pace you have. I know some times you want to just get it done and start to rush. It looks really good.  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/

That's a lot of progress for 10 months.  I assume you're working on it in your spare time and while you're not at a regular job?
