Back home from a very long day of testing. Up at 5am, at the track at 7:30am, testing all day and evening, left the track at 11:30pm, home by 2:00 am. Was exhausted till I got showered and climbed into bed.

Anyway, testing was very productive. Car worked well when the track was firm, but never got down when it got hot & greasy (135 track temp).

First pass off the trailer went like this:

5.27 off the trailer, 1.18 60'.

Also ran 5.34, 5.26 and last run of the night was 5.23 with a 1.15 60'.

Air was not very good with the best air at 1800' D/A, worse during the day approaching 2200'.

Tried alot of things, some worked, some did not. At this point finding a hot summer tuneup is a priority, but not going to be easy either.

Good job on the testing, I know how those marathons can wear you out. It sounds like thase are some pretty good numbers for a track that hot. I tested last night and the track wasn't that hot but the air was worse. 1st pass the air was around 3,200' and the last pass it was a little over 2,800', 1,800' would've been nice.

Watched the video's on FB. The car sound awesome \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ I saw where it kept blowing the tires off. ;-) When the sun went down it looked great coming off the line. Good to see it come back in one piece \:D/ \:D/ Now sit back and relax a little.

Why would you say that?

Have you spent any time watching either ODR or X275 (drag radial) cars run?

Before I tore the car apart for the rebuild, it used to wheelie anywhere from 12 to 24". No way to race a car being the wheelie bars are illegal and mine are just on for testing till I get the front rebound learned for varying track conditions.

Front end up much more and you run the risk of putting it on the bumper as you ramp the power in.

These runs were made with anywhere from 12 to 18 degrees of timing taken out on the launch, then ramped back in.
