Most likely that is for hanging his shorts on to dry cause after that first pass he'll need to rinse them out. =;

Here's a pic of the drive shaft installed inside that tube. The more I look at it the more I like it. What do you guys think??? The drive shaft took 5 weeks to get from Dennies. =; =; BarryImage

I don't think you can put too much into safety. What's it made of? BTW I was looking at the pics at the beginning of this post and it doesn't look like you have a kidney bar in it. You're gonna need that to certify the car.

Chuck,
Kidney bar??? The car will certify to 6.00 as that was in the contract when it was built and they garrrauntee it to certify. The tube is made out of mild steel that is tig welded. I was concerned about geting the shaft in and out but no problem =; =;

Thanks Bob \:D/

The kidney bar goes from the corner of the cage just behind the driver's seat to the bottom of the door x brace just below the helmet bar. When I started my car it wasn't included in the Mcamis drawings I got. It was added by the NHRA before I finished it though. Here's a pic.

Your car might have it but I didn't see one in the pics you posted. If it does't it shouldn't be a problem to add.
