Thanks for the comments !! Its been awhile coming. But once I pulled the permit ( 3/3/10), things have gone fairly well. We've now got 3/4 of the metal siding on it now, was to hot and humid to do more than we did. Maybe have power in it at the end of the week ?

Your right ... I started out planning on a 40 x 60 ... but after the grading was done, that size shed just wasnt going to fit on there easily. Its easy enough to add on to it, or bulled a small shed onto the side for all the stuff in storage.

Hummm, don't know how I missed this one? Looking good though Duane.

Just make sure you put plenty of insulation inside that thing. First summer in mine without it was unbearable most of the time then winter was worse that that at the opposite end of the scale and down in the 30s at times. Insulation will help keep the heat in in the winter and it will also help keep it out in the summer. Now if I could only afford air conditioning I'd be set.

Ken, Right now the building is wrapped in a foil / fiberglass / plastic that is rated at R 11 ( as I was told ). Plan is to insulate the rest will take a year or so at least. But since the walls are 2" x 6" I am planning on going with a R19 at least ... maybe an R 32 ( correct rating ? ) and then probably then blow in for the ceiling. But no doubt it is going to be unbearable until I get it insulated, walls and ceiling up and a heating & cooling unit.

Thing that sucks is that all utilities will be commercial rates since it will have its own meter and its not a dwelling.
