Dont no about Jeff but the motor is fresh and is all bolted in ready to go

That is one sweet looking Vega,big block and light weight that thing should fly!!
As Barry said though I think I would re think that tranny cooler,not only the road debris but it will not get much airflow and its probably close to the header tubes.....just a suggestion,but its a great looking car and a nice job!!!

What im thinking is yes a stone can put a hole in it but it will also dump fluid on that rear tire and put you in a nasty rt turn into the wall O:)

Thanks 2450 w/driver 5.50's 123.-124 1/8th and the trans cooler will be moved this weekend

So where would you put the trans cooler? Mine is mounted the same way.. :-k

Hey guys,
As Barry said,and mine is in the same spot ,kinda, mine is on the radiator and upright but mine is a street car and probably develops more heat than Barry's,but it is in the middle of the car for the same reason as Barry stated.
A tranny cooler could be safely mounted on the firewall but I would use a heat sink type not a fin type for strength and it would probably be more effecient also.
