That looks killer nice work .
If it was me and i was going that far why keep the front stock sub frame there .do it in round tube also and have a lot more room plus a good amount of weight off also .
You have done a nice job on the rest of it I'm sure the front would make the whole truck even that much nicer .

the class it is being built for requires a stock front clip or it would be a strut front end on round tube

we got a little farther this weekend,we were not able to work on the s-10 only we had stuff to do on the vega and mustang also but here is where we are....we did get the housing narrowed though!

Thanks guys,
I dont know if the "grave digger green" is going to last as there is a ton of welding still to do the owner is trying to pick a color and it will help with surface rust through the winter. He is thinking the body will stay purple and the chassis will be a similar green to what is on it now.....but who knows it will probably end up being multi-colored as we burn up the current paint while welding and repaint the welds for rust protection but the green is pretty cool.

I would say another 40 hrs or so and we should be done with the chassis and we can start putting the body back on \:D/

Wow,Man, Jeff thats looking killer.I also give the green a Thumbs up.Of course thats comin from a guy who loves yeller. =; Mad skills man!...Know who Im callin to put that front half on the New/Old vega of mine....when I can afford it.... =D> =D> .
