Jake wants to take a stab at NMCA Nostalgia Muscle car. So there is a lot of work we have to do. We plan on running NMC/B 11.00 index. The car has to have full interior, minus rear seat, headliner, carpet, fender wells, and meet NHRA/NMCA safety standards.

We already meet the safety standards except for a cracked windshield and no cover over the fuel cell. The car is Gutted So it needs everything except a dash.

we got the fender wells and interior parts except carpet from a couple of Malibu's at Pull a Part in Louisville. Price about $90.I'll keep you up to date with pictures and such.

The interior we got is red. Jake wants black so we had to wash and sand everything. We are using Dupli-color vinyl and fabric paint. Last night we fired up the heaters and the wiped everything down with Lacquer thinner and prepped with Dupli-color adhesive primer. Jake did the painting.

Cool Steve. I don't think it will need any motor upgrades though.
It may have to be slowed down a bit to make it. Have you made any 1/4 passes with this motor?

I have some more pictures I'll post in a while. We were working on the car Tuesday night and the power went off. It is still off. I have the Generator running now so we can watch some TV. The internet just started working. So I figured I'd get on and see whats up.

This is what we got done today. Along with the power coming on  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/  \:D/ it's been a great day. The headliner was done By Ned Couch the seat cover king. He is also going to help us do the carpet and cut us a great deal. We still have some more trim work and carpet.

Hey Steve, is there something that seals the battery/fuel cell from the driver compartment?

Not right now. we are having a box made for the fuel cell. and drilling some holes in the floor for Leakage. The battery is an optima so we don't have to worry about fumes or leaks.

Hey Tony we needed something to do so since we had the headliner done we figured we would put it in. :-k  :-k  We have a couple of neighbor kids :-k  =;
