Here us a repost of the car from the Show your Stuff catagory since this is where it belongs

Now I just about have the engine done, will get the carb on tomorrow and then have to wait for the big brown truck with most of the rest of the stuff needed, after this next delivery all that will be needed will be AN fittings and Lines .... that stuff sure hasnt gotten any cheaper during the last few years.

But it should be running next weekend. After a good fun day of off roading, it will then be put up for sale

Thanks everyone ! It has come out pretty good looking if I do say so myself.

Now that they have opened up the Off Road Park near by again I should be out there in a couple of weeks and will post a pic of what they are supposed to look like after a day of having fun.

Tony .. yea the garage is kinda full ... and I have spent the last week putting stuff in the shed and throwing things away or giving stuff away. And you can only barely see half the garage, the other side has a stack of rough sawn lumber ( oak and walnut ) 4' tall x 20" wide that my Wife gets to manuver her car past when she pulls in / out.

Your Garage look more like this:

Barry .. The next project will be to finish the 383 for the Monte Carlo, get it installed and running and then after one LSR event next May, I will start on another Sand Rail that I will bend the Chassis up myself. I dont like these prebent / weld together kits. The upper bars are placed to narrow and when it rolls ( not if but when ! ) someone is going to break a collar bone or ??

Steve ... they are ment to get muddy ... besides it all washes off and then they look new again  =;

Things will work out pretty good with the Carb, the Zenith Carb I have on my Black Sand Rail w/ stock 1600cc is way to big for it, but will be perfect for the 1904cc in the Purple Car. Then I have a bunch of spare stock 1600 Intakes and Carbs to put back on the Black Car. So they both should run pretty good.
