It looks good so far, I would add one more bar just in front of the X bars mounting to the 2 x 3 frame rails, about 3-4 inches forward and between the two rails for a that little extra support.  These chassis's can never have enough bars for supoort, jmo though.

Did you make the two main frame rails or did you buy them from someone as a kit????

John

Hey guys,
   I think I like the idea John,when I look at it now it does seem like a long way between supports and it cannot hurt anything,although the chassis is pretty stiff now as it was only sitting on three jackstands as I was welding it (before the rear housing was in).

  The frame rails are fabricated not store bought(2x3x.083)  and the cage is a Jegs kit with some modifications(1 5/8x.134")it is a 12 point kit w/extra 16' added for x-bars and sill bars,the frame and cage are completely TIG welded,but the welds to the body were done with a wire feeder....squirt gun :-

  This car will be more street car than race car but he wants to get the chassis certified,mine is also ready to certify so we will split the cost and get both done.

  Hey Barry I will pit bitch for you,you just have to race in Ohio,heck I'll do you one better I'll meet you in Pa. =;
