This started out to be a SS/GT car, but since it has 4 doors it isnt allowed, so now he is going the prostreet route and have it legal to 7.50, I have one tub in now, will get the other in this week and then finish up all the tube work and start on the frame rails going forward.
It came out of the factory as a 2007 Saturn Redline Coupe.

Ya they do. It was built as a non saleable vehicle and doesnt have a VIN. He had to sign paperwork saying he would never register it for the street.

Here's a recent pic. He will be doing all the finish welding since it will be TIG'ed and I'm waiting on him now before the center piece gets cut to fit and tack welded in place. He's on a Cruise right now .... must be nice

I made this to form the driveshaft tunnel piece and the " Dog House ".
Dog House all formed and ready for some trimming. It will be welded into the car.

Great work Duane. Once I can finally get started on my Nova, I might have to ask you a bunch of questions during my build. I have one for you now though: Are you using a jig for the chassis, or just working off the floor/jackstands/etc.?
Mark

used a jig to run the main rails and backhalf.
All the tin is supposed to be welded in and done early this week.
