Would that be a flashlight out the window? =; you should put in an identical big block(down to the valve cover bolts) and switch cars out every couple of weekends.

i could, but the only problem with that is the wheels are different and it's set up for a small block... i'll see if i can find some pics of my "headlights"

ok, ya goota look close but you can see them... next to my faux headlights is a litttle round light where the front marker light used to be(next to the grill) they are actually a yellow color when lit and are halogen to boot. got them at wal-mart for like 10 bucks. check them out....

run it in the no-box class and run about 10.50's. hopefully it will hook the tires in oil and be super consistant. i'm gonna run a 360 with a glide and 4.88's in the back. just wanted to do something different, make something that i don't have to work on all the time.

I never took so much ribbing from the guys at the local drive in as when I had a yellow 56 210 chevy, that I used to street race. Every time I drove in, someone had to yell TAXI. lol I usually got the last laugh. It was an Honest 11.30s car and that was fast for 66 on the street.

i dunno if he will be done next weekend or not, but if it keeps turning out like this, i surely won't mind waiting another week =; it's coming out nicer than i thought, the only downside to it is now i feel like i wouldn't do the car justice by racing it without it being painted [-(

That tin work is super nice, he is doing a great job. I think I would have to paint the car myself.

thanks greg, yeah i feel as if i owe it to the car to get it painted now, only problem is finding a competent painter around here! they either want to charge an arm and leg, or they are all drunks that can't keep a deadline, or they are so backed up, it's not even funny! O:) i will figure something out. first step is picking a color!
