Thanks guys. To answer your question Tony, the headers will be sent to Jet-Hot and coated with their latest and greatest 1400 degree bling coating. The mufflers and tail section will be done here locally with an 1100 degree coating. If I do the headers with the 1100 it will burn off in a hurry. Got to have the look!
All I care about now is what it will sound like. I had a dream the other night that it was as quiet as my Camry! LOL doubtful.

Hey Jeff,
That has got to be the best looking duece I have seen you should be very proud, can't wait to see what it does in the quarter because it looks fast as hell in the pictures!!
I just built a set of step headers myself[img] the welds look just as good and the welder looks at least as bad :-s .[/img]

Hello Jeff
I like what you are doing. I know how long it can take to weld together headers, but you are doing a great job
I am looking forward to more updates
Take care
Tom

Finished the exhaust today. Fired it up and it's a whole lot louder and deeper.

One immediate noticable affect was the idle vacuum increased 3 inches. Used to sit at 3 inches at idle, now it's all the way up to 6 inches. So obviously it had restriction at idle, makes you wonder how much it had at throttle???

I'm pretty proud of this shifter mount I made although it took me three feet of tubing to finally nail the compound angles. The bottom plate has a bend to follow the tunnel and there is a matching backing plate underneath.

And Henny you hit the nail on the head, it seemed like the welding would never end

And a thanks to my wife for allowing me to spend two straight days at the shop!!!
