yep, and carpet this week [-(

did get the rearend sandblasted and painted. i'm on vacation in 2 weeks, gonna pull the body off and get the chassis blasted and painted.....

Hi Cory

That looks awesome, god i wish i was in the states.   You are getting into it as well, pity i wasnt there with you, I reckon it would be good spending every spare second off the day on that thing.

Hope its all going well.


Also, serious question time now.   what would a chassis and a nbody like that cost.   Just like you got Cory.   No engine or tranny, no nice wheels or anything, just a bare roller.

it's been a while so here is an update. just got the car back from powdercoat, taking it back to the "tin man" for him to finish up the tin. i think i'm gonna run outta season before i get this thing done  :-({|=

Is the drivers side floor tin aluminum??? I thought it had to be metal???

i went through the book and couldn't find anything on that. maybe you know something that i don't? it is .040 thick though...

no, i'm having a guy do all the tin work. i can handle it all but that.

I found it in the book....It says that the floor must extend the full length and width of driver compartment to the rear of the driver's seat...

Minimum .032-inch aluminum or .024-inch steel... So your good there as long as it's one piece on the drivers side =; Same for the firewall as far as spec's........

Do anything with the footbrake car or is that stalled right now.......

I love the finish on the rollcage is it just called Hammertone silver or does
it have a specific name for powdercote ?
