#-o I think I would want it to sit a bit lower and control the wheelie and bounce with a stop..
Thinking your going to need lighter springs.

These are the lightest springs. The will settle over time.If I get a chance I'll post pictures tonight. It willbe at stock ride height or a little less due to the design of the control arms.

The height the way it was I think is where you want it...IMO you don't want the nose up going down the track as it is going to slow you down...Nose down is better... =;

I will give it time to settle. The pictures are from the first night on the wheels. I think after we tie it down some it will lower more. Didn't the old drag cars have the nose way up kind of gasser style. ;-)

I think your going to need a bump steer kit,I did after i installed trz upper&lower control arms on my 86 ss Monte Carlo

No,whole family from PA.I was born and raised in MD.I thought I didnt need the bump steer but I did,I was trying to get the kit cheap.Only one way to find out and that is making passes.

You can measure the toe change at ride weight and again as you jack the car up taking weight off of the suspension. This can be done using a couple of straight edges and a measuring tape. You have to measure behind and in front of the axle center and do the math for each point of measurement. It's a crude method but it will give you an idea if there is a lot of bump steer in it. I check the bump steer on the alignment rack any time I work on a car that has suspension or chassis mods. It really needs an alignment anyway because of the parts that were changed so that would be a good time to check it. The problem with the average tire store/alignment shop is they don't understand bump steer and rarely do a decent job on aligning a car. Steve, If you want to give me a call I can handle the job. I do all the alignments for Fast Chassis including the pro mods he builds.

Jeff, it was a stab in the dark. LOL the Winters run in NMCA NMC,Open Comp, EFI and I think Mean Street. I looked at the bump steer kit on the TRZ web site and it just looks like Tie Rod ends. Did you run stock spindles?

Chuck Jake was planning on taking it to work and doing it there but you brought up some great points. :-k Let me talk to Jake and see what he wants to do with the new info.

I didn't realize Jake had access to an alignment rack. If it's something he's going to do himself you can get him to give me a call and I'll explain to him how to check the bump steer. If it's a problem he will have to have a bump steer kit but there are a couple of ways to correct it.

TRZ BUMP STEER COMES WITH NEW TIE RODS,I RUN STRANGE 4 PISTON DISK BRAKES IN THE FRONT ,I HAD TO DO SOME CUTTING AND DRILLING TO THE STOCK SPINDLE FOR THE BRAKES.I USE QA1 SINGLE ADJUST COILOVER SHOCKS.

Yeah we had to cut off the old caliper mounts and drill and tap 2 of the back plate holes.
