Im thinking about adding on to my 8 point bar and making it a 12 point ,should I see any improvements with my 60 foot, right now 60' is 1.36,I just wanted to make the 8 a 10 point for saftey, but the guy doing the work for me almost has me convinced to go to 12 point.what do you think, this is going tin my 86 ss monte carlo.

If the car is showing signs of flex, then you may indeed see some improvement. Improvement would likely be in overall consistency rather than 60'.

Should this 12 point cage all be welded to the frame or the body? I thought the frame but others have said the body.

Welding to the frame gives you the best protection and is more effective for reducing flex. If it has rubber mounts on the subframe replace those with solids first.
