I'm trying to calculate the sidewall bulge of a 33 x 10.5in slick, that is to say the measurement from the extremity of the tire to the edge of the rim viewed in profile. I think it's about 3/4in to 1in each side. this is on a slingshot weighing 1400lbs with slicks at appro 6-7psi....odd to guess Iknow but I'm building a period correct car and want the tires tucked into the bodywork as close as possible.

Cheers

Phil

What you are referring to is know as "section width" and much of it depends on how wide your wheel is. I've got a set of 16x32 tires mounted on 14x15 wheels and they measure 18" at the widest part.
