Got a friend who is looking for powerglide pats for a 57 chevy. It is cast iron and original to the car. Anybody got a source for parts for one of those?
Greg

Oldest transmission guy in my area is Bucky Bass of Bass Automatic Transmission Parts in Lynchburg, Va. 434-845-8847

He was the top rebuilder in this area for eons but now that he's gotten too old to wrestle with'em he just sells parts to local shops but if anyone would know where this stuff is available it would be him. Just tell him that Ken referred you to him and he'll likely charge ya double! Nah, just kidding on that part but he is the man in this area. Give him a call and see what he says.

If your friend is willing to wait a few weeks, there will be a GM only car show from June 26-28. It is in Carlisle PA. He should be able to find about anything that he needs for an old 'glide. Bob
