My goal for next year is mid nines from a best this year of 10.30@133mph my main thoughts have been its going to be easy to put some extra power to it but what do i need to think about in terms of chassis improvements, at present it drives real straight from the light through to the other end, guys who have watched the car run say theres little if any movement in the front end and only a little in the rear, I have Koni coil overs in the front and multi leafs with dble adjustables relocated in the rear behind the axle no traction bars just an extra 1/2 leaf at the front of the pack
for my best run I had the shocks set very soft on the extension and real hard on the compression that was on 9" drag radials as its a bracket only car for next year I want to run slicks so do I need to have a lot of front end lift, will moving the engine and trans back a couple of inches help or can i just get there using the extra power and slicks.
Thanks
Royz
