Ordered a new rear gear for the car from our buddy Ron Owens so Pit Bitch and I will be tearing the car apart some time in the future to put that in.

I'm going to have the converter loosened up and made spragless.  I talked with BTE the other day and their thought is it needs to be around 6500 instead of 6000 like it is now.

We've got about 2 years of running on the transmission so I'll probably freshen that up as I'm also going to change the planetary in the transmission from the 1:96 that's in there now to the 1:76 I got from Barry last spring.  That should put the short times at about the same thing they are now and also reduce some of the RPM drop at the gear change.  That 1:76 will also reduce the "hit" at the starting line and kinda offset the potential lower rear gear starting line problems Scott mentioned a while back.

There goes the "freezer money"!  O:)
