Here is a series of pictures from my track outing on Sat.  The car was yanking the fronts pretty hard.  Went all new bests in all incrementals except one......right off the trailer no less!  I heard a noise in the rear end on my second pass during shutdown and loaded up and came home.  Found some broken teeth on the ring gear when I pulled it apart this afternoon.  I've ordered a Pro Gear to replace the previous street gear.

Needless to say there is quite a bit of ET left in the car since my first pass off the trailer is usually a throw away with the fluids/driveline being cold.  With any luck I'll be back out on Nov. 18th to try it again.  :D

Yeah, for a moment you can't really see where you're going.  Just gotta trust the machine to do it's job!

Garrett,
Heard you were there at KCIR Saturday. We went on Sunday to try Steve's altered. Gary Lee was there with his Camaro and said you had been there Sat. We left before Gary got to run with all his plug wires attached, but it runs low 11's on 7 cylinders. =; He said you ran a 9.73. You got it running good.

See what them wheels up launches do, break stuff.

Sunday the air was getting worse. Was probably 1500'DA by 2pm. Steve ran a new best ...  4.870@141 and the air was ~700' worse than his 4.88 pass.

Rick,
I've finally got the car working like I want it to.  The air was 213' DA on that pass.  Too bad the ring gear went as that was a warm up pass and the car usually picks up once the fluids stabilize.   =P~ I see a 1.33 in my future.   8-[

I spoke to Moser yesterday and they indicated I had surpassed the limits of a Pro Street gear.  The tech said 650 HP is about the limit.  I'm stepping up to a Pro Gear and will try and make it back for the Nov. 18th TNT.  Lucky I quit when I did........

I did see Gary on Sat. and worked on him a little bit about getting his car down there.  The track was as sticky as I've seen it and if he didn't hook on Sunday he never will!   :-k

P.S.  The wheelies aren't breaking parts, it's that heavy iron thing sitting in front of the converter that keeps doing it!!   =;

But part of that thing is aluminum now, won't that make it easier on parts??? ](*,)

It looks like the wheelie is there. I don't think you would want to go much higher. Great looking car. \:D/  \:D/
