i am using a fast af meter pt no 17040 and the instructions say to plug the power in and leave it plugged in unless the car is not used for more than 15 days,,, but with the unit plugged in to the cig lighter wont it have permanent power to it,, in other words will the o2 sensor in the pipe be permanently powered up.. will this kill the o2 sensor prematurely... if i used on switched live it would heve to be set every time the ignition is turned on... which way is right

Zeph I don't know of anyone on here that has a FAST system so I guess that is why no one replied to your question. I know my DL-32 gets turned on when I need it and turned off when I don't.

Anyway, glad you got it sorted out.
