Wiring this gauge in and find that the MAP sensor wires are way too long for where I am mounting the gauge  :-k
would it affect the readings if I shorten the wires ,my previous gauge was just vacuum this has Warning and Recall feature which is why it has the sensor I guess.

Roy,

making the wires shorter will have no effect on any readings, just make a good job of shortening them.
