Hello
The compression on my first motor is going to be around 11.3:1 with a .035 head gasket. I was told not to go more than .070 for head to piston for detonation reasons on pump gas
I have 256/264 @ .050 on the cam which will help bleed off some compression and I do have the Holley strip annihilator ignition which will let me pull out timing   but
I was thinking about using an anti knock sensor. Is there something relatively simple to install with what I have to do this?? What one would be the easiest to work with(brand and type) ?
E 85 is coming up here, but not any close to my area yet
                                       thanks
                                                Tom

I found this, which is not that cheap. I see MSD has a sensor that has a manual dial you turn inside the car, which I don't really like
For what I will be driving the car, it may be easier to just to buy 3 or 4 cases of octane boost for the summer
Two tanks of gas in a week will cost me $100(on average, some weeks maybe more, some less), so another $25 in octane boost is not going to break me
It would be expensive if I was to drive the car more, but the way it will eat fuel, I won't be afford to fill it up every day
E 85 is already coming to Southern Ontario at 3 locations( still over 3hrs from here) but it will come our way in a year or two. I have tried to see if I can get it shipped up here, but I have not heard back yet
                            take care
el sicko is going back to bed
