could you guys make use of a manifold pressure sensor ?

I've found a nice small unit that will go to at least 25 in/HG depression and also the same the other way

I can send you one if you think you have a need, I've tested it today and can send you the curve (straight line) for volts out to manifold depression.

5 volts in and and at atmospheric its about 2.4 volts output drops with more manifold depression.

Easy to fit, just needs a 1/4 (6mm) hole drilling for the sensor it seals on an O ring, fit to a flat surface and a second threaded hole to retain it (with a small screw / bolt) a few mm away. and it's very light.

let me know if they are any good to you and I'll send some, let me know how long the leads need to be and I'll make a lead long enough to reach the logger with the correct plug on the wire.

Sam, you know if I had one I would use it, with a race car there's no such thing as TMI. I think it would useful in determining engine load although I don't know what I would do with that knowledge at this point. As far as lead length goes probably a couple of feet would be plenty for me. I put weather pak connectors on everything anyway.

I don't think what my mail man does even qualifies as a slow walk #-o
