I picked up an old 4575 a while back for next to nothing to fix up and try. One of the first things I check on any carb, new or used, is the t-slot length and exposure at closed throttle, as well as the throttle blade fit in the bores. I am amazed at the fit that the blades have in the bores on this 40 year old carb! I have never seen a set fit this tight, and I have looked at and hand fit many with file and sandpaper (very tedious!). I can hold it up to a bright shop light and see virtually no light around the edges. I also noted that the primary slots are a full 1/16" longer on the primary than secondary. I'm guessing this is to help extend the idle circuit into the main? Also, the blades overlap the slots a fairly significant amount, but neither the bore surface or blade edges are worn.
