Seems like every time I have time to play with this thing, the weather does not cooperate and when the weather does cooperate, I don't have the time.

Anyway, on a positive note, my hood scoop finally shipped today. The carb and non-drop base filter sticks out just a little bit now. :) That's with 1.5" k-member spacers in it. If I did not have them, it would be waaaay out.

Great success! Finnally had an opportunity to drive it today and man it runs great. It starts good, idles good, and hauls ass when you hammer on it. Afr's are waaaaaay better everywhere than the old 950. WOT was in the 12.5 range and it just flat works better.

That 12.5 can "probably" be leaned down a bit once you establish where the fuel curve is down track. Jmark and Nomad have found "some" HP by leaning the curve to around 13/13.2 or so up top end and you may be able to do that with the MABs once you get some data from a WFO pass.

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together! ;-)

Track opens in March so I will keep my eye on that.

I ended up bolting a 68 hemi dart hood scoop on it. It looked pretty wack when I first did it, but is growing on me. JuSt hope it stays on at 120. :)

With that expensive looking house in the background of that picture, I'm surprised your Wife lets you park that thing out in front of the house? O:) =; \:D/ Image Sorry, just kidding! ;-)

I live in a pretty nice neighborhood. :) Wife tolerates it.... for now.

That's one of the reasons why I keep a car cover on it! The other being that my t-tops leak!

I have plans to build a shop in the backyard, but have other financial obligations to meet before I do that.

I wonder why that is? Could it have something to do with it being twisted up like a pretzel leaving the starting line?? =; ;-) I'm surprised the windshield isn't broken too.
