Guessed at .078 just to see the difference. I had 1 turn on the air valve on my new style 950 Ultra , was able to close the air valve , car ran very nice , maybe a bit smoother part throttle than no restricter and the air valve one turn open. Maybe this could work rather than drilling throttle plates?? All carb may not respond the same. Thanks Milan

I ran .078's in my 850 , and i sold it to a friend of mine for his car, and when he chassis dynoed it they said it was dead nuts on everywhere with the jetting etc!.It was great on gas too. I believe i did have the plates drilled for some bypass air still.

I could try maybe a 1/4 turn on the air valve , easy to do if it ever stops raining ...!!

Did not want 1/4 turn open on the air valve , will test more tomorrow to double check ......

Car runs very nice and clean heres the tune up on the whole carb , and a thanks to Mark for his help ......IF .033 Main Air .026 Emulsion #1 .028
