anybody got a source .
post it up please .
my guy can only do up to rims at his shop . the 55 im looking at has alum cell!
help i dont wanna buy a new plastic one ?

Aren't they coated to begin with?? My dragster has an aluminum cell also and I run methanol in it. :-k

DONT KNOW THE MFG. OF IT ......if it was fabbed who knows . i would assume a dragster cell would be for alky not a big cell with a sending unit

Put some methanol on the top of it and then set an open glass upside down on top of it to keep the meth from evaporating to see what it does to it over time. That or you could soak a rag in methanol and leave it on there.

Not all aluminum cells are coated but you should be able to get stuff to coat it. I would think so. I will do some digging.
