Loaned my 3 circuit 1050 Pro Sys , w/billet metering blocks to a friend with a solid 10.00 bracket car (has run as fast as 9.70). I felt my 2 circuit 1150 I built from the info from this site was better at the track , and did not want any "3rd circuit trouble" so I never ran the carb , except on the dyno , and it had good manners there.
The only changes I made to the carb was lean the i feed and iair by .003 and install .065 trans restrictors , I do remember the int feeds where .040 and a .043 restrictor on the other side metering block. The rest was the way it came from Pro-Sys. The carb runs perfect , no loading up black plugs etc. and also is about .005 quicker than a box stock 1000hp and consistent 1.30 60's They also leave low on the trans brake 2400-2600 rpm. Im wonder why it works so well? Did Holley make changes in the metering blocks?? Anyone have any ideas. Thanks Milan
