Racers,

I found a clean 9377 Dominator to test with. What is the original out-of-the-box jetting for that carb?

Also, and I have never seen this on any Holley carb, the shooters have been removed and the outlet holes plugged. The shooter outlets appear to be in the throttle body above the booster area. Is this something I have just never run across or is it an usual modification?

Thank You

Sounds like an unusual mod, may have been somebodies attempt at methanol and trying some weird stuff.

It also has thinned throttle shafts and all metering block holes have brass inserts. Four emulsion holes per column with threaded inserts. In addition, all throttle body metering has screw in jetting.

Is this box stock Holley for has someone worked it?

It is the old style body with lips above each bore.

I think I will move this little unit right along and get an unmolested version :)

It is not worth spending the time to dial in an usual combination.

Also, there is no way to reinstall a conventional shooter. The factory threaded shooter holes have been drilled considerably oversize.

I sent some pics to Ken in a PM.

It has 92 jets but I do not trust that. The modified shooter passage jets are .031

Jet size is about right for a 9377 with annular boosters. Don't know why they went to the trouble to machine the throttle shafts as it's got flare banjos in it?? Looks like the .062 BLP flare banjos that are in my 1150 methanol carb.

But yeah, I do think I'd start with one that hadn't been molested!! ;-)
