Well, everything went well, no issues what so ever. Had solid fuel pressure the entire way down the track. I was going 1.42-1.43 sixties. Very happy with the pump. Also noticed to, it was so much easier to keep the battery topped off without having the fuel pump drain. Spoke with john at apd, he told me as long as the car wasn't going faster the 1.10 in the sixty, that you shouldn't have any issues with there pump provided that the fuel lines are plumped and sized correctly.

Are you logging fuel pressure down track and if so, what was it at the stripe?

What did your AFRs do when the throttles shut? :-k

The yellowline on the log is fuel pressure. My holly black pump would drop a 1/2 pound from staging rpm to launch, this pretty much stays the same and then increase by .35 to 8.2 pounds. The old pump would oscillate about a pound, and would smooth out about 3 seconds into the run. It does dip rich when the throttle is shut.

The mechanical pump definitely seems to provide a more consistent fuel flow.

Thanks,

No smoothing, that is the raw data from the logger.

Thats my demon, I plan on running my dominator in two weeks ,now that I got the bigger converter in there. Car picked up nearly a 10th going from the 5200 to 5900. Based on the data I got before, that dominator should be significantly faster if I can get it off the line clean.
