I cleaned up my carb before the track rental and replaced the bowel gaskets. I got a 5 pack of gaskets from AED. Well I only made 2 full passed and put the car in the trailer.
Well looks like there leaking and just can't figure out why?? I pulled the bowels off and took a look and
everything looks fine. So I replaced them and put it back together and filled the bowels with gas and all
looked good. We I just went out in the garage to get ready for tomorrow and they are leaking as there wet on the bottom of the bowel right where the gasket sits...Anyone here have an issue with AED gaskets? I really don't think they make them and look like the others I have.... #-o

Are you sure it's not the accelerator pump leaking. It can run over and make it look like a bowl gasket sometimes.

Well it looks like there is something wrong with the gaskets as I put an old one back on and let it sit over night and it's fine... :-

Beretta I have had some gaskets that were to wide, there were wide at the top, so they don't sit tight to the block at the bottom and may be rideing up on the ridge of the block and not sealing, its hard to see. I belt sand them a little till the gasket sits tight to the block, no more leaks. Not sure if this will help with your problem.
