Yes the start time of the booster varies with density, heavier fuels start later but the flow rate for a depression across a jet doesn't vary with density. The flow rate through a jet is determined by head differential and viscosity. The flow rate and the weight of fuel delivered are separate things. 2 different density fuels will deliver different weight through the same jet even though the flow rate is the same. If you use a heavier fuel you need a smaller jet to deliver the same AFR, the smaller jet reduces the flow rate and the head in the main well reduces so the emulsion varies. People do not pay enough attention to the accuracy of emulsion, they just change main jets and wreck everything all the time. They never get the emulsion right.
