It's probably the suspension and the skinny tires. A Transbrake car in your ET range should be about .2 faster.

Could you explain further, that seems like an awful lot. Are you implying that the car is spinning?

I think where Scott was going is Transbrake car vs. foot brake. Loading the chassis off of the Transbrake will be quicker than launching without it.

I don't disagree that the car should be faster off the T-brake, just thought like .2 seemed like a lot to pick up. Wanted more clarification as to if I should be expecting more off the t-brake.

Just wondering to how much ET is left on the table by softening up the hit of the t-brake.

Bill,
I had a ladder bar with 14/32 tires 468 BBC that was 7.0s off the foot brake and 6.80s off the Trans Brake.

I can definitely see it being a bigger difference with a car with a large tire. Needs the hit of the t-brake to get the tire turning.
