Scott: I noticed in some of your pictures posted a while back that you were using stepped boosters. Why?

The only stepped boosters I had were on a carb from a pro builder that said it needed them. I promptly removed them. =;

Thanks! Do you still have them or did you machine them down to make regular boosters?

If you still have them and would be interested in selling or loaning them let me know. We would like to test some on my father-in-law's engine. I'm not sure this is the answer to his problems but he would like to try some anyway.

He's hoping to get his engine back on the dyno as early as this weekend to test some more things. He's going to pump it for compression also. Hopefully that will give us some more information.

For reasons beyond me he's not planning to borrow my LM1. ](*,) I'm seriously planning on boxing it up and sending to him anyway! He talked to the dyno operator about it and the op doesn't seem interested. I guess since he's never used one it must not work. :-

My response is "It's your engine, test what you want to test and tell the op to run the dyno." [-(

Matt, FYI, those flared banjos are available in a bunch of different sizes from Bo Laws Racing and they're not very expensive. Check them out at BLP.com.

Thanks Ken. I was looking at those. Wayne is retired too so money is kind of tight. He's done me enough favors that I'll probably just buy him some.
