Good Luck to Nick (Smithberg Racing) and Scott (Dieselgeek) in the EMC this week. I think they run today. Hope you get in the finals.

Post some numbers when you get em.

Nope, we didn't enter this year. Maybe again after my dyno is done.

Looks like Nick and crew barely got bumped back to 3rd in the qualifying rounds which will keep them into the finals on Friday. Good Luck.

Rick

here is a post from PHR on the Hemi dno test on Wednesday.
PHR website wrote:
Danny Miller/Hot Heads/Gene Adams/Smithberg Racing
Score - 2423.4

The Danny Miller/Hot Heads/Gene Adams/Smithberg Racing Chrysler Early Hemi running in the Street Division has to be the most technologically advanced Early Hemi in the world. With an electronics package unlike anything in the competition, this injected beast is the product of a group of incredibly dedicated individuals. With remote tuning via a laptop, the 385 cubic inch engine was nearly infinitely adjustable, and the data logging capability was nothing short of stunning. The team took advantage of the sophisticated electronics, tuning each cylinder of the Hemi to perfection. The engine effortlessly pulled through the three required qualifying pulls producing 607 horsepower at peak, with 563 lb-ft of torque recorded. The qualifying session was completed with a score of 2423.4 points.

Congrats NIck, Scott and the rest of the HotHeads Team on a strong 2nd place finish in EMC Street Class. Nice job!!! Nice tuning improvement from Wednesday too. Please post your dyno sheet when you get a chance.

Hey guys sorry I'm so late to the party!

This is how we did:

Runner Up in Street (as you can see above).

Torque Monster for the class.

And a Special Recognition award from Steve Dulcich for my Induction Setup and Scott's (dieselgeek) Kick Ass EFI setup.

Very happy to head home tomorrow!

I was super stressed all week, tired, no sleep, you know the typical jitters? We were in 3rd going into the finals by 2.5 points until I made an executive decision to add collector length. I knew it was too short but I knew what we scored in Cali. Played with Pipemax to make sure of a better length and predicted a big points jump, it did just that. Surprised quite a few people I think.

Yep, that damn garage gas been a thorn in my side. Supposed to pour the floor next weekend but still having issues with my contractor. They can't seem to get the job done right, pretty upsetting.....

Got some cool projects headed my way so I'm excited to finally do some other things. Just gotta finish a few others before I take on much more.

Pretty cool so many people followed us this year! =D>

We've talked about that. Nothing wrong with helping each other out. Got a few local guys in the same boat for electrical.

Congrats on the great finish... I told you those o-rings were going to mess up things.
The program in my computer didn't allow for them... I did it the first time the way my boss wanted...not the way I wanted... Then he had to figure it out... sorry about the suspense. It was very nice to work with you and all the other "Hot Heads" great job. I thought someone would have figured out that they could have kicked the timing up a couple of degrees and put in a little more jet and overcome the moisture in the air on Fridays finals. I don't think anyone did it except mayby Jon....
