 Post subject: Carb to Plenum

Ok Guys

When you stick your carb on top of your manifold and the plenum area is much larger than your spacers and nos plates etc, do you fill with JB Weld or the like so the mixture comes out of the carb and has a smooth transition into the runners. Or, do you not care cause it doesnt cost HP.

it is better to big than to small,so the airflow has no edge to catch on,and as i understand the plenum is a "reservoir"of air/fuel mixture that has no "direct" flow path as the flow in the plenum is constantly changing direction as intake valves open and close so i would not think it was an issue
