Well I ended up buying a Dart Little M block with all 5 4-bolt Billet caps. It has some block fill in it but that is ok. I took the rotating assembly up to Knerium racing engines Friday to fit to the block-bore-plate hone clearance and check the rod and main clearances. Turns out the crankshaft has some wear on the rod journals so it will be turned .010. So I had to send the standard rod bearings back. Should be done with the machine work in about a month. [-(
But that is ok. I also bought a new Rons Flying Toilet Injection system for Alcohol. I got it mocked up on the old block and looks pretty good. I had to ditch the old alternator setup and buy a Moroso Mandral and Alternator bracket..got that in Friday and it looks real good. Working on the belt it will be 23" long V-Belt. Short little belt lol. I had a friend bead blast my intake and powdercoat it clear. Turned out pretty nice compared to what it looked like before. I had a 3 gallon aluminum fuel cell made to mount where the battery used to be still need to make up a strap up for it. Aside from the motor I have cleaned the frame, firewall, and balk-half painted it all and tried to clean it up a bit. Also setup a new 4.88 ring and pinion. Hopefully soon enough it will be back in 1 piece again. I will post some pics when it gets closer...

Jody,

What rear end do you run and if a 12 bolt by chance, what gearset did you have in it? I have a 12 bolt and I may need either a 4.56 or even a 4.33 4 series Pro Gear set. Thanks, and good luck with the new & improved 422 =D>
