 Post subject: Crank mandrel ?

I have BBC with Allan grove components mid Alternator mount CSR water pump setup . Posted link http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/imag ... e/236R.jpg I want to remove factory crank pulley and replace with mandrel. I want a mandrel that attaches to crank with 3 bolts and has hex head to turn motor over with socket breaker bar combination. I hate using starter when setting valves. The future will likely include vacum pump as funds permit.I have looked at this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-63849/?rtype=10 How can I save a buck or two

I used the guy that Barry has a link to when I put the vacuum pump on mine. I have an oddball setup on the front of mine and he was able to fix me up. He even made a special spacer for it and I had everything I needed in one box the first time.

If you don't like the others posted you can go for the Star. A bit pricey but looks nice...Mark is a dealer and has good prices..

For another source, BLP sells belt drive pumps and mandrels as well. I have one on mine.
