What could've happened to cause motor to now have lots of crankcase pressure? It's on a motor that ended up having a couple rocker arms loosen off, motor got fairly warm but not excessively I don't think. After getting valves adjusted to proper specs and checking timing again, on firing it up that is the symptoms now along with fumes to run you off. Revs up fine now which wouldn't do before. This is a gas setup. Any ideas????

IF it was inlets that loosened off then the compression goes up in those cylinders and results in possible detonation or combustion conditions close to detonation. That could be the reason why it got hot too, anytime the compression is too high for a fuel you generate very high temps across TDC. Detonation makes engines get hot and it damages rings or head gaskets, causes leak-down to go up and you get crankcase pressure.

This is a dirt car motor, so the main reason for the temp rising was lack of rpm causing the motor to "lug". Sounds like a tear down is in order! [-( ](*,) #-o
