some rule changes were made in our stock class, it has been 3 years since a freshen up so we will install new bearings and valve springs and check the heads over. will use new headgaskets this time lost count on teardowns and reuse of old gaskets. these are copper gaskets to exact bore size.

rule changes.
1: lighter pistons we will be keeping the same ole trw forged that have been in the motor.
2: 2 bbl victor jr intake 2901

283? O:) What's that, half a big block? =;

So if those gaskets are still working, why change'em? I mean they are advertised as "reuseable" aren't they? I think I've got a couple of sets of the old style Federal Mogul bearings for one of those things?

yes, they are reusable but think they have been twice already. waiting on rod bearings from smut.. may have to reorder with someone else soon.
