Hi Guys

When you guys grind out the bottom of the block for crank and rod clearance and cut into the water jacket, what rods, or how do you weld them up. Its not a structural type weld, just a small bead to fill in the hole.

If its just a small hole I would use epoxy over the hole after I grouted the bottom half of the block.
If you insist on welding try a silicon bronze rod with a TIG torch or a high nickle rod.
BTW, what is your definition of a cold weld??
